**We are a COVID Conscious Retreat! Before the weekend of the retreat emails will be sent with a series of questions to confirm everyone is good and safe to attend the retreat. Before entering the house we will have temperature check, hand sanitizer and masks available upon request.

Hello my name is Mindy Plude-Gregory
I am a Certified and Insured Usui-Reiki Master. I began my Reiki journey in 2014. Reiki has changed my life in many ways for the better. I incorporate and experiment with Reiki for myself, others, objects, and situation.
I have participated in other Retreats (hosted by the Glens Fall Hospital)
Reiki is a Japanese technique, a form of spiritual practice, that helps reduce stress, tension, and also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. It was first discovered in 1922 by Mikao Usui. Reiki energy heals by flowing through the effected parts of the energy field and charges them with positive energy. It raises the vibration level of the energy field in and around our body where negative thoughts and feelings are attached. Reiki energy clears, and heals energy pathways and allows life force energy to flow in a healthy and natural way.
For this retreat I will be doing small groups, (approx. 4 people) but you will also receive individual treatment in that setting. I look forward to meeting you in the Adirondacks for this Women’s Weekend Retreat. Blessings….Mindy
Hi, my name is Christine Wood. I live in Gansevoort, NY and I am a photographer/videographer for the Air National Guard. I work in the Public Affairs office and have 24 years of military experience. My job has taken me to AMAZING places and I’ve been lucky to take photos and videos in Antarctica and Greenland and love what I do! I am a wife and a mom to a 9 yr son. My hobbies are knitting, crocheting, crafting, traveling and my absolute favorite is yoga. I look forward to connecting with all of you throughout this retreat. Hello! I'm Kate Rouse and I am a Massage Therapist. I love spending time with my kids outdoors, camping, canoeing, and just having a good time.
I will be providing 15 minutes massages to everyone during the selected times. I will be doing chair massage or reflexology massage.
I am taking part in this retreat as a busy mom and wife myself wanting to connect with other women, connect deeper with myself and learn to balance, heal and make time.
This is very exciting for me and I look forward to this retreat and getting to know everyone and seeing how we all feel at the end...AMAZING!!

Chakra Alignments (Yoga & Meditation)
During this class you will learn the basics of the 7 main energy centers in the body. When our Chakras are blocked or unbalanced it leads to mental, emotional and physical ailments. So during this class we will begin by aligning our 1st chakra and working our way up to the 7th chakra. We will use yoga, meditation & sounds to help us balance our chakras and feel amazing.
This will be a class where we will focus on using all our sense while we walk outdoors. This will help us feel connected to the earth, grounded, and most importantly...focused on the PRESENT moment.
Yoga Nidra is a deep meditative style of yoga that will allow you to enter a stage between awake and sleep. During this stage you are able to relax and release any stress. Awaken refreshed, at ease and feeling 100%.
A fun new way to do yoga where the main focus is stretching the body, increase spine health (helping the spine become stronger and help reduce sciatica and low back pain problems), mobility and this can be done in a fitness class or a restorative class. Wonderful way to connect with your body and do some strength training.
This form of dance is an ancient Shamanic Healing Ritual that helps people release judgment, worry, and become free of stigma and be who they choose to be during this dance. This dance ceremony can be extremely empowering, uplifting and many people tend to have an emotional release, visions and out of body experiences.
We are all laying down and I will guide you all through a meditation session of cleansing, clearing and healing. During this session you may feel me touch you gently as I help cleanse any energy out of you. I may use drums, rattle, singing bowl or anything that I am called to use during the ceremony.
Energy healing session that will be private between the healer and the individual person being healed. During a healing session you might feel energy flow, dizzy, or light headed. Allow the practitioner to guide you through this process as it can differ from person to person.
Massage is the manipulation of the body's soft tissues. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain. Kate will be providing chair massage and reflexology massage.
